University emergency coordinator scores Big Bethel 3BD
Tammy L. Waldroup bought a three-bed, one-bath home at 1811 Broadstreet Road in Big Bethel/Riverdale from James F. Huff for $165,000 on Nov. 16.
The 1,587-square-foot house was built in 1955 in Virginia.
Waldroup has been an emergency management coordinator at the University of Richmond. Aside from that, she has been a consultant at Yale New Haven Center for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response. In addition to those, she has been an adjunct instructor at Virginia Department of Emergency Management. Moreover, she has been with the City of Hampton as a neighborhood and community facilitator and emergency management planner.
She has been a member of Emergency Management Professionals, Master Exercise Practitioners, and Emergency Management and Homeland Security Professionals, among others.
She received a Bachelor's in management and leadership from Bluefield College and a Master's in leadership and management from Liberty University.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 145 home sales in Big Bethel/ Riverdale during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $180,000.
