Conservation districts' foundation to fund scholarships
The Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts Educational Foundation is funding statewide $1,000 college scholarships to promote the education of Virginia residents interested in natural resource conservation and the environment.
According to the press release, applicants must be full-time students enrolled in a college freshman level curriculum or high school seniors who have applied to a college curriculum. Application should be submitted to your local soil and water conservation district.
