Hampton police seek pair in Feb. 17 robbery
The Hampton Police Division has identified two suspects wanted in connection with a Feb. 17 robbery at a home improvement store.
Police are seeking Darren Maurice Johnson, 45, of the 400 block of Dare Avenue, Hampton, and Wanda Faye Dobbins, 42, of the first block of West Kelly Avenue, Hampton, in connection with the crime.
According to a report, at 12:35 p.m. Feb. 17, police arrived at the Home Depot in the 1400 block of North Armistead Avenue, responding to a robbery report. An employee told officers that he had attempted to detain two shoplifting suspects when one of them allegedly lunged at him with a box cutter before the two fled the scene in a truck. The employee was not injured.
