Overnight delays expected March 5 for I-64 West 'superload'

Drivers should expect overnight delays March 5 on Interstate 64 West due to the transportation of a "superload."

The 23-by-198 foot transport will use two travel lanes from mile marker 264 to mile marker 147 between 9:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.

Load transport drivers will pull over to the shoulder periodically to let traffic pass.

The load will stop once it reaches the former rest area on I-64 West in Louisa County at approximately 5:30 a.m.

Its final destination is West Virginia.
