Hampton PD seeking patrol recruits for summer academy
Hampton Police Division will begin accepting applications Wednesday for the position of patrol officer.
Application will be accepted through April 12. Recruits will attend the 24-week Hampton Police Academy which begins in July. The academy provides both classroom and hands-on instruction.
The division offers a variety of benefits including a police take-home car program, paid holidays, gun allowance, on-site gym, paid military leave, educational incentive pay and full tuition reimbursement toward an associate degree.
