Hampton joins other cities for National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation
Hampton Mayor Molly Ward has decided to join mayors from other cities in the National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation.
The competition challenges cities from across the nation to be the more responsible with water conservation.
Members of the community can sign up and pledge to conserve water and have a chance to win prizes as well, including a Toyota Prius. Registration is open and runs through April 30.
According toHwww.hampton.gov, Hampton moved up two spots on the top ten list of sign-ups (among cities with 100,000 and over population in the South) last week, to No. 3.
