Langley Speedway to host Pepsi Night, second event in Whelen All-American Series
The Langley Speedway will host Pepsi Night on Saturday, April 14, the second event of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
Two 25-lap KeesVacations.com Modifieds will hightlight the six-race evening at the speedway, 11 Dale Lemonds Drive, Hampton.
The lineup also includes the 40-lap Pepsi Grand Stocks, the 40-lap Heritage Motor Co. Super Streets, the Cycle City Corp. INEX Legends (25 laps) and the Xtreme Mechanical Services INEX Bandoleros (20 laps).
The gates open at 2 p.m. Practice will begin at the same time.
Time trials are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. and the prerace ceremonies will start at 6:55 p.m. The racing action will begin just after 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12. Military members, active and retired, along with senior citizens, will get $2 off the price of an adult ticket. Children under 6 are free if accompanied by an adult.
Fans can also get family packs for $25. The pack includes two adult tickets and two child tickets.
Late Model drivers Greg Edwards and C.E. Falk, along with Late Model points leader Wes Falk, will be back at the Langley Speedway on Saturday, April 21 for Carl's Racing Products Night.
Also on the April 21 schedule are the EZ Auto in Newport News Late Model Stock Cars (two 50-lap races), the Larry King Super Trucks (25 laps), the SavitaPets.com UCARs (25 laps), the Standard Welding Pro Sixes (30 laps) and the Cook's Moving Services Enduros, which will open its campaign with a 40-lap race.
No racing is scheduled for April 28. On May 5, the Whelen/USG Night will take place. It will include a Late Model twinbill.
