VDOT to hold citizen information meetings April 18 and April 19 at Hampton Roads Convention Center
The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold two citizen information meetings from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18 and Thursday, April 19 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610 Coliseum Drive, Hampton.
The meetings will focus on the Environmental Impact Statement study conducted for the Interstate 64 Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel corridor, which extends from the I-664 interchange in Hampton to I-564 in Norfolk along I-64.
During the meetings, VDOT representatives will update the public on plans to improve transportation capacity, traffic and environmental conditions in the corridor.
Attendees will have an opportunity to provide suggestions, comments and concerns about the project.
