Spring Carnival opens at Hampton Coliseum
The Hampton Coliseum, 1000 Coliseum Drive, Hampton, will host a Spring Carnival from Thursday, May 24 to June 3.
Activities will include rides on a giant Ferris wheel as well as the Fire Ball. In addition to rides, there will also be games for children of all ages.
The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. weekdays and noon on weekends and Memorial Day on Monday, May 28. The carnival will close at 11 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 11:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. On Sunday, May 27, the carnival will close at 11:30 p.m. Carnival closing times are subject to change.
Admission is $3, but free for children 5 years old and under. Ride tickets are sold separately. Each ticket costs $1, but package deals are available. A $20 pack consists of 20 ride tickets, while a $50 pack consists of 56 ride tickets. An option of a unlimited ride hand stamp, costing $20 Monday to Friday and $25 on Saturday, Sunday, and Memorial Day, is alaso available.
