Calvary Assembly of God seeks volunteers
Calvary Assembly of God in Hampton needs volunteers to help it provide a safe atmosphere for children and children's activities, the church announced in a news release.
The church needs a nursery leader to volunteer for one Sunday morning per month or one Wednesday night per month to work with one or two other adults caring for infants during the service.
The church is also looking for a preschool teacher to volunteer one Sunday per month, according to the release. The volunteer will with work with the preschool team to create a fun environment for children aged 2 to 4, according to the release. Activities include preschool worship, Bible lessons, crafts, snack and games.
The church also needs a life group leader to work with preteens on the first and third Sundays of the month. Life group leaders are responsible for small groups made up of fourth- to sixth-graders.
