Hampton History Museum to feature 2 films

The Hampton History Museum will feature two historical films this month as part of its Port Hampton Lecture Series and Lunch in Time Series events.

According to its press release, the museum will present "The Day Which Will Live in Infamy" at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6. The film will be shown along with a panel discussion about the bombing of Pearl Harbor featuring survivors of the attack. Admission to the event is free for museum members and $3 for nonmembers.

The museum will present the documentary "My Wife Just Blew Away, She Just Blew  Away: The Great Dust Bowl," featuring personal stories of the natural disaster that occurred during the Great Depression, at noon Wednesday, Aug. 15.

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a sack lunch, while a complimentary soft drink and dessert will be provided.

Both events will take place at 120 Old Hampton Lane in downtown Hampton.
