Zion Baptist Church to host Family Day Homecoming picnic
Hampton's Zion Baptist Church is planning to host a Family Day Homecoming picnic in August.
The event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 19 at the church. The theme of the homecoming day picnic is Family and Friends United in Service Today, Tomorrow … Forever!, according to a news release.
The guest speaking at the event will be the Rev. Edwin E. Jones II, a youth minister from Abyssinia Baptist Church in Norfolk, where Dr. Sheridan Nelson is pastor, according to the release.
Zion Baptist Church is located at 125 W. County St., in Hampton.
