Hampton police seek leads in McDonald's parking lot shooting
The Hampton Police Division is asking the public's help in identifying the shooter in a July 27 incident that left a man seriously injured.
According to a police report, the incident occurred at 10:18 p.m. in the parking lot of the McDonald's in the 1500 block of East Pembroke Avenue.
During an argument between two groups of people, the suspect allegedly drew a handgun and shot a 19-year-old Hampton resident. The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he was being treated for a single gunshot wound to the chest, the report said.
The suspect then fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan. No suspect description was given.
