Deadline for applicants scheduled Nov. 26 and Feb. 19
Officials in the city of Hampton have announced that the deadline for accepting applications for grant money are Monday, Nov. 26 and Tuesday, Feb. 19.
The City of Hampton is accepting applications for up to $10,000 in grant money from the Youth Education and Family Services office. There are a total of $50,000 worth of grants being distributed.
Applicants should address youth violence and anti-gang strategies, including gang prevention, intervention, education, job training, skill development, and family and community development.
