Death investigation reported in the 100 block of Flinton Drive

The Hampton Police Division is investigating a recent incident involving death investigation that occurred in the Hampton area.

The incident was reported in the 100 block of Flinton Drive at 6:10 p.m. Sept. 3.

According to a news release provided by the police division, "Hampton Police Communications received an 911 call in reference to a shooting incident. Upon the officer’s arrival, they found a two-year-old male juvenile suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head. He was transported by to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 6:40 p.m."
